I know this because life just got a little bit more crazy and everytime I tick one thing of my to-do list, another 5 things get added. I have a feeling it's going to be a crazy term.

In less than a month, it will be time to start report writing but before the report writing can begin there is all the testing that has to be done and the correcting that comes with the testing and the entering data and the list goes on. And while all this is happening there is still little people waiting for me to teach them things and plan exciting lessons and who like having stories read to them.

I need to make some lists and prioritize things and organise my data.

I am off to print out as many copies of this inspiring quote as my poor printer can handle and I will stick it everywhere. My diary. Above my desk. The whiteboard in the staff room.

living the life

I can't get enough of this blog and the amazing family living the Australian dream right now.

Oh how I would love to pack up everything, hook up a caravan and make my own trip around Australia. One day. Until now, I will be content to follow their adventure and experience our wonderful beaches and country through their eyes.

YCW Beach

Oh how I love the smell of the coast. It instantly makes me feel happy and refreshed, calm and relaxed, and the best part... this beach is about 500m from the holiday house. Bliss. 

I can not wait for summer.

Phillip Island

Heading down to Phillip Island for a few nights.

I am looking forward disconnecting from technology and spending a few days just being. Walks on the beach, reading and sleeping are on the to do list. I am hoping the sun appears for a couple of hours so I can get outside and have a play with my camera.

Point + Shoot: Saturday

Watching the game, drinking cider and catching up with friends. The perfect way to spend grandfinal day. We kept with tradition of wearing the colours of the team we support. I have a good feeling that we will see Hawthorn holding the premiership cup very soon!

Make Hey! While the Sun Shines, The Help and Matilda is Missing also found there way home with me this weekend. I plan to spend the rest of the holidays planning projects, crocheting and getting lost in bookland.

my creative space

Today is my first time playing along with creative spaces. The combination of school holidays and Melbourne's wet and cold weather, has made for perfect crafting weather. Here are a couple of the things we have been up to today.
