weekend plans

St Kilda Esplanade - Late afternoon

Is there seriously anything better then sitting down on the couch on Friday night, knowing that there is a whole 48 hours for fun and relaxing things? I love to have a combination of things I would like to achieve + making it up as it comes along.

This weekend I plan to make to...
- make a few more squares for the simple granny square blanket
- start thinking about what information I have for reports + what I still need to get
- find some time to read
- start a budget
- start a new knitting project
- print photos + finish week in the life
- get my project life album up to date.
- take a photo walk
- take some time to breath

What plans do you have for the weekend? I hope they are spectacular x

finding balance

Lately I've been having a hard time finding the balance between work and life. Not surprisingly, work is winning at the moment. Schools are such a people place that come Friday afternoon, I am exhausted. All I want to do is hide myself away from people and sleep.

Saturday comes and is usually filled up with boring things that I can't seem to get done during the week. Sometimes, if I am lucky, I manage to see Brendan Saturday night and we might get some time to be together on Sunday.

These last two weeks of term, I am going to strive to find some balance between school and home. Work smarter and not harder. Try and leave more school work at school. Not spend so much time on things that nobody really notices.
